SPORTS MASSAGE THERAPY

Sports massage is designed with the athlete in mind. It uses deep tissue and range of motion techniques to give sore muscles the ultimate relief. Sports massage can be particularly useful for injury prevention, or as a welcome recovery from a sporting activity

2

LYNO THERAPY

The Lyno method is a complimentary health modality that uses a holistic assessment to identify the areas in the body where unresolved physical and emotional trauma causes restriction in  fascia mobility, the cause of chronic pain and recurring injury.

3

PERCUSSION THERAPY

Percussive (also called percussion) massage uses rapid and repetitive pressure combined with vibration therapy to increase mobility, reduce inflammation after exercise, and decrease delayed onset muscle soreness.

This is a therapeutic technique used to improve venous circulation after strenuous activity. The device consists of an air pump connected to compartmentalised sleeves or boots. When activated it forces fluids like blood and lymph out of the pressurised area. It increases circulation, eliminate swelling and metabolic waste. With deflation, the veins will be replenished with blood.

Medically it is also used to treat oedema and to prevent DVT.

In athletes, intermittent pneumatic compression has been used to significantly reduced the occurrence and intensity of DOMS(delayed onset muscle soreness), improve flexibility and to improve recovery.

Ice baths or cold water submersion allows you to recover faster and reduce muscle pain and soreness after intense training sessions or competition.

We’ve chosen to use the following parameters for ice baths as it doesn’t kill you but makes you stronger! 10 minutes of immersion at a temperature between 10 and 15 degrees Celsius.

That delivers enough time to get all the benefits and avoid any risks.
